Before moving to the United States from Holland in 2004. Stijn led Microsoft's Public Sector Sales and built its Consulting Services in the Netherlands. Stijn helped organize the largest Dutch Trade mission to Silicon Valley ever with over 200 business connecting with over 400 VCs. At Microsoft’s Headquarters in Seattle, Stijn led B2B Product Marketing for Microsoft Office (including the creation of Office 365) and Microsoft's global SMB Marketing team.
In 2014 Stijn became a Fractional CMO in order to help start-up and mid-market software companies create and accelerate their marketing teams. Stijn has been the SaaS CMO (or CEO) for 10+ start-up companies.
